our vibe

Sausage serving yet vegan friendly, attuned to the rich diversity of neighborhoods in Baltimore City, serving breakfast all day, Park is of the moment yet anchored by something deeper.

Tucked into an old carriage house on the edge of the Bolton Hill neighborhood the more than 100 year old building has formerly been a pharmacy, a barber shop, and a florist shop. The interior is true to it's history with a very modern and streamlined aesthetic.

FROM THE BAR

FROM THE BAR

Wet your whistle

Our espressos are handcrafted by experienced baristas using our stunning Mediterranean blue La Marzocco semi-automatic GB5 which was lovingly manufactured in La Torre, Italy just outside of Florence.

We use only locally sourced ingredients for our drinks.  Beans from Ceremony Coffee Roasters and milk from Trickling Springs Creamery are the basis for the classics.  We encourage our customers to try our more innovative shakeratos, tea lattes, and iced mochas.

Our menu is prepared from local ingredients.  Many from the Baltimore Farmer's Market, Whitelock Community Farm just up the street, and some that we grow ourselves.

our flavors

Park's food is created from fresh local ingredients. Our menu features re-imagined classics, innovative specials, dishes you’ve never heard of before.  Depending on the season, you might find cheesy grits with chicken sausage, baked egg breakfast sandwiches, or some of our signature items,  kale & quinoa salad, tomato soup with grilled cheese croutons, our incredible chicken salad.

We make all of our preserves, jams, and syrups on site.

We offer a rotating selection of baked goods that include; rosemary apricot shortbread bars, double chocolate brownie cookies, glazed lemon pound cake, and seasonal strudels.  We also serve locally made Taharka Bros. Ice Creams a perfect pairing for our breads and pastries.

OUR STORY

Our kitchen and our cafe is staffed by our family and our friends, people passionate about food, community, and hospitality. Here is our unique story.

ELSA VALDES

CO-OWNER, EXECUTIVE CHEF

Elsa was part of the original Park Cafe family when David Hart and Joe Costa opened the eatery in 2015.   Often David and Elsa joked about the day when she would own the cafe. That day became a reality on August 3, 2017 when Elsa and her brother George realized their dream to own and manage a small business.  Elsa's passion for food and cooking is evident everywhere in the current menu - many of the items either created by Elsa.

Jorge Gonzalez

CO-OWNER

Jorge can be seen many days behind the counter at Park. His signature mega watt smile and love of hospitality are the first things you will notice when you step inside.  Jorge believes family is the most important relationship you can have and he wanted to help his sister realize her dream of opening a cafe.  Together they hope to grow Park to its full potential and have left the door open for other locations at some future time.
